Great

	A true design classic: deliciously chic and understated
	So easy to drive, you'll forget it's a 4x4
	Has all the latest high-tech gadgets and gizmos

Gripes

	Not as confident off-road as it could be
	There are so many controls, you might get muddled
	You can have seven seats but the back two are tiny

Drive

Superb to drive on-road, despite its imposing size, but don't try any serious off-roading

Reliability

It's German - of course it's reliable! Keep an eye on the electrics, though

Feels wonderfully serene inside, bar the glut of controls which can be confusing

The boot could be bigger but there's enough room for golf clubs and groceries

Mostly top-notch, but the curtain airbags don't protect every passenger
