Great

* Fantastic value – cheap to buy and lots of standard kit thrown in
* Five-year warranty is great if you’re the nervous type
* Smart four-wheel-drive system makes it a useful towcar

Gripes

* Pack earplugs, there’s plenty of engine, wind and road noise
* Not as good to drive as rivals such as the Nissan X-Trail
* Some of the plastic bits feel a bit cheap and tacky
DriveDrive rating - 3 out of 5 stars
Decent, rather than thrilling to drive. Optional four-wheel drive monitors road conditions
ReliabilityReliability rating - 3 out of 5 stars
Should be rock solid and there’s a five-year warranty in case of crumbles
InsideInside rating - 3 out of 5 stars
Seats could be more supportive, and the rear view is obstructed by rear screen pillars
SpaceSpace rating - 3 out of 5 stars
Good for five, or two plus two mountain bikes
SafetySafety rating - 4 out of 5 stars
Six airbags, stability control and four-wheel drive offer useful protection, as do the alarm and immobiliser
Standards and extrasStandards and extras rating - 4 out of 5 stars
Air-con, alloy wheels and electric sunroof are standard, or upgrade for leather seats and automatic gearbox
